If all email service providers would be NFL teams, AWeber surely would compete for the Super Bowl… and probably win, too!

You can’t imagine how excited we are to announce the following: We integrated PadiAct with AWeber! We will provide for all their wonderful users, an easy and effective way to increase those valuable email lists.

AWeber does a great job describing how you can benefit from the integration with PadiAct, but we thought we’d offer you a couple of inside tips and tricks on how to take your email marketing to the next level.

Auto-respond to behavioral targeting

PadiAct takes care of the behavioral targeting. You just have to define who you want to target, what message to use and PadiAct takes over from there. Create for each segment you define a different list in AWeber to which PadiAct will send the subscribers details.

Here is how you can go the extra mile: for each of your AWeber lists, create an auto-responder that matches the message you used to convince your desired segment of traffic to subscribe.

Now, that’s what we call top notch follow-up.

Implement A/B Testing in your targeting campaigns

You are probably already familiar with testing email campaigns inside your AWeber account, but now you can use A/B Testing to collect more subscribers. If your website traffic is high enough and allows it, you can use PadiAct to setup A/B Testing targeting campaigns.

You can test the call to action you display and try to convince visitors to subscribe, you can test the way you present it or you can find out the best timing to display your call to action.

You really can’t fail with that kind of control.

Avoid bad timing, target people when they’re ready to be converted into leads

When somebody enters your shopping cart, you only want one thing: for him to complete with the order. Interrupting him, in order to get him subscribed, is not really a good choice of timing.

PadiAct allows you to define critical sections of your website that should be ignored from targeting users, so that you will not interfere in the conversion as it takes place.

What PadiAct does best is to help you increase the number of email leads and subscribers without a negative impact on any of your other metrics. But don’t take our word for it:

  1. [...] Now, thanks to PadiAct’s hard work and our API, you can have those visitors join your lists automatically with the new PadiAct/AWeber tool. [...]

  2. I can see how this service might be of interest to some companies and marketers as it would have been for me (5 Years ago) when unsuspecting online marketers were bombarded and presented with different scripts that one could patch together with an existing service (for an additional monthly fee).

This was all very exciting at the time, and acceptable as everyone signed up to 10 or more different services and had 100 scripts running together in order to perform a few tasks, plus paying hundreds in fees every month for years before they realized that one could hire a kid to program the same task for a 5 dollar flat fee.

Since this post appears to be about AWeber recommending its subscribers to sign up for a third party company at an additional rate of up to $159 per month (based on 10000 subscribers)in order to perform a few additional tasks such as visitor targeting and customization, I’m going to have to say, Sorry, but no thanks!!

Build this into AWeber instead as a standard feature including your analytics for which you charge additional fees as well, but really should come standard (its 2012, get with it).

Hi Arnold and thanks for the comment.

Aweber already has a module for running overlays to get people to subscribe. What we do different is that we use behavioral targeting techniques to make sure you get to target the people who are interested into subscribing and not disturb those who are not.

The $159 is for getting 10 000 new subscribers each month. The number of subscribers you already have in AWeber is not considered in any way in our pricing.

How about 1000 subscribers a month? $159. a month is not in the budget, and 10,000 new subscribers is too cumbersome even if I got 10%.

The product pricing for up to 1000 subscribers is $49, and for up to 300 is $25. There is also a free plan for up to 50 subscribers per month.
